Bompa’s Insect Expedition

A wonderful book to share with the little ones in your life, or just enjoy yourself 😊

Nakina and her twin brother Kaoru are going on an expedition with their Grandpa. They usually go somewhere exciting like a pond, or the beach. They are short of time this time though, so Bompa takes them on an expedition into their own backyard.

At first they think they know about all of the insects that they find in their yard, but looking closely with Bompa, they discover and learn about a whole lot more. They also learn that you don’t have to go far to have a great adventure.

Beautifully illustrated throughout by Qin Leng , there are insects and other animals to search out on each page as Nakina and Kaoru explore and discover.

At the back are some facts and suggestions for going on your own insect expedition, recording your findings, what to pack (don’t forget the snacks!) and how to help insects thrive.
