Up Close: Spiders

This one was very kindly given to me by a friend as a present for my birthday and very much appreciated it was too - I really enjoyed it.

The front cover suggests it might be full of the big, the bad and the scary, however it gives an interesting and broad coverage of all things Australian spider related, including how and what they eat, how they see, which ones are really deadly (far fewer than you would think), spider skills (they have some!) and how different spiders use their webs.

A great read for kids large (🙋‍♀️) and small.
