Invertebrates
Making up about 95% of all known animal species on earth, invertebrates inhabit almost every environment, and play a crucial role in our ecosystems. They pollinate plants, decompose organic matter, and serve as food for other animals. They are weird, fascinating, beautiful and essential to life on Earth, but they, and their importance, largely go unnoticed to the casual observer.
The aim of my macro photography is to help make these little things more visible, and hopefully, appreciated.
